Odoo Team Lead

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Odoo Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of Odoo ERP systems and a proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams. The Odoo Team Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation, customization, and maintenance of Odoo solutions for our clients. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:

    • Lead a team of developers, analysts, and functional experts, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure project success and team growth.

    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

    • Allocate tasks and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

  2. Project Management:

    • Manage end-to-end implementation projects involving Odoo ERP solutions, including requirement gathering, analysis, customization, testing, and deployment.

    • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

  3. Technical Expertise:

    • Possess an in-depth understanding of Odoo's modules and functionalities, utilizing this knowledge to guide the team in developing tailored solutions that meet client requirements.

    • Perform technical feasibility assessments and provide guidance on best practices for Odoo customization and integration.

    • Hands-on involvement in complex coding and troubleshooting tasks as necessary.

  4. Solution Design and Customization:

    • Collaborate with business analysts and clients to design Odoo solutions that align with business processes and objectives.

    • Lead the customization and configuration of Odoo modules to meet specific client needs, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

  5. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure the quality of deliverables by implementing thorough testing procedures and conducting code reviews.

    • Establish and enforce coding standards and development processes within the team.

  6. Client Communication:

    • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.

    • Gather and prioritize client requirements, translating them into actionable tasks for the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven 5 Years of experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, preferably in an Odoo implementation environment.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Odoo ERP implementation, customization, and integration.

  • Proficiency in Python programming language and familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • Strong understanding of ERP concepts, business processes, and best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interaction and team collaboration.

  • Project management experience, including familiarity with Agile methodologies.

  • Odoo certification(s) is a plus.

  • Leadership and teamwork abilities with a passion for mentoring team members.
